During the summer vacation Haruna Igarashi (2-2) went to English camp with 55 other students from around Koriyama city. The camp was for four days and three nights. 12 ALTs from 5 different countries also attended the camp.

Haruna had to speak English during her time at camp. She made a photo story in English with her group, played Australian sports, watched a movie, went on a treasure hunt and played many English games, including one with water balloons. On the final day Haruna gave a short speech in English in front of everyone.

The camp was a lot of fun. The students met many English teachers and made lots of new friends. I hope that Haruna will continue to study hard and enjoy English.
